These are the rules we both work from. If anything here is unclear or feels wrong for your situation, call us before you book rather than after.
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These terms apply to every booking. You accept them when you submit a booking request. They work alongside our Service Agreement, which you sign at your meet and greet.
Submitting a request does not reserve your dates. We check availability and reply within 24 hours.
Your booking is confirmed once all three of these are done:
Until then your dates are open to other clients. We do not hold dates on a verbal or text agreement.
Payment is due in full when we confirm your booking. We accept card payments through the invoice we send you. We do not accept checks.
New clients receive 10% off their first booking.
There is no charge for a fourth dog or beyond. Dogs one through three are charged at our standard rates.
Rates are quoted at booking. If your dates, times, or number of dogs change, your rate changes with them.
We do not issue cash refunds. When a cancellation qualifies, we issue an account credit good for 12 months toward any future service. Credits are transferable to another dog in your household.

Changing a booking
Shortening a stay counts as a partial cancellation and follows the table above. Moving your dates entirely is free if you give us the same notice a cancellation would require and the new dates are available.
If you pick up early, unused nights or visits are not credited. We held those dates for you.
Late pickup is charged at $15 per 15 minutes past your scheduled time. Daycare pickups after 8:00 PM are charged the late fee plus $40 for an unplanned overnight, if we have space.
If you know you're running late, text us. We will always work with you. The fee exists for the times we don't hear from anyone.
Every dog must be current on vaccinations before their first stay. That means rabies, DHPP, and bordetella. Texas law requires rabies vaccination for dogs over four months old, so rabies is not optional and we cannot make exceptions.
You will upload proof through the link we send after you book. We need it in hand before your dog arrives.
You are responsible for telling us the expiration date on your dog's rabies vaccine. If it expires mid-stay, we need updated records before that date.
We do not accept dogs who are visibly ill, who have been vomiting or having diarrhea within 48 hours of arrival, or who are recovering from a contagious condition. If your dog gets sick before their stay, tell us. That is not a cancellation we penalize you for.
Every dog must be on a current flea and tick preventative.
If your dog arrives with fleas or ticks, we will treat them and charge you the cost of treatment plus $45 for cleaning and decontamination. If the infestation is significant we may end the stay and ask you to make other arrangements.
This is not us being difficult. Fleas in a home where other people's dogs live spread to every animal in the house.
You must disclose any history of biting, aggression toward people or other animals, resource guarding, escape attempts, or severe separation anxiety before your booking is confirmed. This is the single most important thing you tell us.
If we discover undisclosed behavior after your dog arrives, we may end the stay immediately with no credit, and you are responsible for any costs, injuries, or damage that result.
We may also decline or end a stay if your dog is not safe with our household, our other guests, or us. If that happens mid-stay we will contact you first. If we cannot reach you we will contact your emergency contact and arrange boarding at a facility, at your expense.
We reserve the right to decline any booking for any reason.
If your dog needs medical attention while in our care, we will try to reach you first. If we cannot reach you quickly enough, you authorize us to seek treatment from your veterinarian or, if they are closed or too far, from the nearest emergency clinic.
You are responsible for all veterinary costs. This includes examination fees, treatment, medication, and emergency clinic charges. We do not cover veterinary expenses and we do not provide medical treatment ourselves. Our role is recognizing when something is wrong and getting your dog to someone qualified.
You will set a pre-authorized spending limit at booking. We will not exceed the limit you set when you booked without your approval, except where a veterinarian says delay would be life-threatening.
If we pay a veterinary bill on your behalf, you will reimburse us within 7 days.
Transportation to a veterinarian is charged at $35 per trip.
You will give us an emergency contact who is local and able to make decisions, and a backup person who can take your dog if the stay has to end.
If your scheduled pickup passes and we have not heard from you, we will charge late fees and continue care while trying to reach you and your emergency contact.
If 7 days pass beyond your scheduled pickup with no contact from you or your emergency contact, we will treat the dog as abandoned and turn them over to a local shelter or animal control. You remain responsible for all accrued fees.
We do not expect to ever use this section. It exists because it has to.
You will provide us a reliable way in: a key, a lockbox code, a garage code, or a smart lock code. If you give us an alarm code you are responsible for making sure it works and for notifying your alarm company.
If we cannot get into your home at a scheduled visit, we will contact you and your emergency contact. Time spent locked out is still charged, and a locksmith, if you authorize one, is at your expense.
Tell us who else will be in or around the home during your booking. Cleaners, family, neighbors, maintenance, deliveries.
We care for your dogs and we do not use your home for anything else. We are not responsible for household issues unrelated to dog care, such as plumbing, appliances, or power, though we will tell you right away if we notice something.
We photograph and video the dogs in our care and post them on our social media accounts and website. This is how people find us and it is part of how we keep you updated during a stay.
By booking, you give us permission to photograph your dog and use those images without compensation. We do not publish your name, your address, or any identifying detail about your home.
If you would rather we didn't post your dog, tell us in writing before your booking starts and we won't. You will still get private photo updates.
Bring what your dog needs. Food, medication, a bed, a favorite toy, their leash and collar with current tags.
We take good care of your things but we are not responsible for items that get chewed, soiled, lost, or damaged. Please don't send anything irreplaceable.
If you do not send enough food for the full stay, we will buy more and add the cost to your invoice.
Central Texas weather can close roads and knock out power. In severe weather, ice, flooding, or any emergency, we will use our judgment to keep your dog safe, including sheltering in place, shortening outdoor time, or relocating if our home becomes unsafe.
If circumstances beyond our control prevent us from providing care, we will contact you immediately and issue a full credit for services not delivered.
We are in Killeen. Things change fast here.
If your leave is canceled, your orders change, or you are recalled, send us documentation and we will credit your booking in full regardless of how close to the date it is. That applies to peak dates and deposits too.
We would rather keep you as a client for years than hold onto one weekend's money.
We may update these terms. The version you accepted when you booked is the version that applies to that booking.
Call or text +1 (512) 967-4423.
We respond to booking questions within 24 hours. During an active stay, we respond same day, and immediately if it's urgent.
