Who you're handing the leash to

Arshawna and Isaiah

We named this after Nubia, Isaiah's dog. She was the reason we figured out we were good at this, and she is the reason we are careful about who we take and how many.

Roxy, our standard poodle, is the one who greets everybody. She is a decent judge of character and an excellent judge of whether your dog wants to play.

Six dogs a day is a limit, not a goal. We would rather turn you away than take a dog we cannot watch properly.

What a day actually looks like

  • Morning potty, breakfast on your dog's own schedule
  • Play in the yard, broken up so nobody gets overstimulated
  • A photo or two sent to you, not posted and forgotten
  • Quiet time, because dogs who never rest get snappy
  • Afternoon walk, weather permitting
  • Dinner, medication if your dog is on any
  • A report card at the end of a daycare day

Your dog's food and routine come from you. We do not switch anybody onto our schedule or our kibble.

Services

Three ways we can help

Prices are per dog, per night or day. The third dog is the last one you pay for. A fourth and beyond are free.

At our home

Overnight boarding

$27 / night
Each additional dog $22 a night

Your dog sleeps here, in the house, not in a kennel run. You pick the drop-off and pick-up times that work for you.

  • 15% off stays of 14 nights or more
  • Photo updates through your own stay page
  • Medication given on your schedule
  • Your food, your routine, your bedding if you want

At your home

In-home visits

$32 / day
Each additional dog $22 a day

We come to you. Feeding, medication, walks, litter of the yard, and enough company that nobody spends the day alone.

  • The day rate covers as many visits as your dog needs
  • 10% off bookings of 14 days or more
  • Best for dogs who do badly away from home
  • We do not sleep over, we visit through the day

At our home

Doggy daycare

$20 / day
Each additional dog $10 a day

Drop off on your way to work, pick up after. Structured play with real rest in between, not eight hours of chaos.

  • A report card at the end of every day
  • Supervised play with dogs we know get along
  • Holiday photo sessions a few times a year
  • Pick your own drop-off and pick-up times

Basic grooming is a $15 add-on. Ask when you book.

10% off For them, on the booking where they enter your code.

Your credit lands once their booking is paid, and it is good for a year.

Fort Hood

Orders change. We get it.

If your leave is cancelled, your orders change, or you get recalled, send us the paperwork and we credit your booking in full. However close to the date it is. That covers holiday dates and deposits too.

We would rather keep you for years than hold onto one weekend's money.

Questions

The things people ask

Do you take cats or small pets?

No. Dogs only, for every service, every time. It is not a capacity thing, it is that we are good at dogs and we would rather be good at one thing.

What do you need before my dog's first stay?

Current rabies, DHPP and bordetella, plus a flea and tick preventative. Texas law requires rabies for any dog over four months, so that one has no exceptions. You can upload the paperwork straight from your stay page after you book.

Do I have to do a meet and greet?

Not any more. We offer one and plenty of people want it, especially for a first boarding. It is no longer required to confirm a booking.

My dog has issues with other dogs. Can you still take her?

Often yes, if you tell us up front. Resource guarding, leash reactivity, a bite history, bad separation anxiety, an escape artist. Say it when you book and we will tell you honestly whether we can manage it.

What ends a stay is finding out afterwards. If we discover something you did not disclose, the stay ends that day and you cover anything that came of it.

What happens if my dog gets sick while you have her?

We call you first. If we cannot reach you fast enough, we take her to your vet, or the nearest emergency clinic if yours is closed or too far.

You set a spending limit when you book and we do not go past it without your say-so, unless a vet tells us waiting is life threatening. Vet bills are yours. We are not a veterinary practice and we do not treat anybody ourselves.

How do I pay?

Card, through the link we send when we confirm. No checks. Payment and a signed agreement are what turn a request into a confirmed booking.

Can I cancel?

Yes, and the notice we need depends on the service and the dates. We issue account credit rather than cash refunds, and the credit is transferable to another dog in your house. The full breakdown is in our booking terms.

Will you post photos of my dog?

We post dogs on our Instagram, and it is a big part of how people find us. If you would rather we did not post yours, say so in writing before the stay starts and we will not. You still get your private photo updates either way.

What if a day is already full?

The booking form will tell you before you fill anything out. Six dogs is a hard limit and we do not stretch it for anybody.
